The Australian Occupational Therapists Association is having its conference on the Gold Coast on 29th of June to 1 of July 2011. The Theme is Making Evidence Work: Informing practices, organisations and the profession. Sounds great! For more information click here.

    Just a reminder that the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists is having its national conference and exhibilitation on 29 June to 1 July 2011.

    As well as that the Australian Physiotherapy Association is holding it’s annual conference on 27 October to 30 October at the Brisband Convention Centre. If interest in the programme we have noted that Dr Helen Cameron-Tucker, who specialises in the role of exercise in Chronic Disease Self Management will be speaking. Find out more at

    The Australian Psychological Society holds its annual conference on 4-8 October at the National Convention Centre in Canberra. Find out more at

    The ComCare National Conference is scheduled for 12-14 Sept 2011 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Find out more about this conference by going to

    The 5th annual Australian Rehabilitation Providers Assocation National Injury Management Conference is due to be held on 20-22 May 2012 at the Sofitel Melbourne. It is entitiled the Roadmap to Resilience in the Changing Wrold or Work.

    As for as I know ARPA provides the only forum for rehab providers in Australia as a whole. Unfortunately I do no think that I will be able to attend this conference. If you are planning to attend I would love to hear from you with some feedback.
